Records acceleration during motion when suspended by an elastic cord.
The Kookaberry has a built-in accelerometer to measure acceleration and record it in an on-board file in the CSV format for later analysis and graphing using a spreadsheet program on a PC.
A low-resolution graph of acceleration is provided on the Kookaberry display.
Educative applications
- Understanding gravity and other acceleration forces
- Explore the behaviour of different elastic materials used as bungee cords
- Observe acceleration patterns for different motion,
eg. bungee, pendulum, centrifuge, free-fall and (cushioned) impact - Experiment with and observe the effect of additional mass
